Promoter and enhancer of the human fibrillin/LTBP gene family, key regulators of mesenchymal cell f

Together with collegues from Roslin institute and RIKEN, we have investigated promoter and enhancer landscapes around key genes in the fibrillin/LTBP gene family, published in Molecular Genetics and Metabolism. Key findings:

Promoter switching was observed for most family members.

Multiple enhancers were identified for all family members.

Family members overlapped in tissue specificity with some unique expression patterns.
